Thousands of people in Iran have reported sightings of UFOs. Iranian public captured one of these unidentified objects. However, it remains unclear whether these sightings are indeed UFOs or if they could be surveillance aircraft or other natural phenomena, such as the planet Venus.

The increase in reported UFO sightings is not limited to specific regions. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) recorded 510 sightings since 2005, with 171 of them remaining unexplained. Balloon-like objects and drones also account for some of the sightings. The US government has started addressing UFOs as a serious topic, emphasizing transparency and accountability.
